End Times?

Are we living in the end times? And if so, what should we be looking for?

In this reflection, we explore a question that has stirred Christian imagination for generations. Drawing on childhood memories shaped by both mainline and evangelical faith traditions, this episode revisits familiar apocalyptic themes—Revelation, the Antichrist, and the sense that history is rushing toward a dramatic conclusion.

But the New Testament offers a surprising shift. Rather than focusing on a single future figure, 1 John speaks of “many antichrists” already present. The question becomes less about identifying who the Antichrist is—and more about discerning what is anti-Christ.

Through the lens of Jesus’ teaching—especially the Sermon on the Mount—we are invited to examine our own lives. Where do we choose retaliation over grace? Power over mercy? Success over love?

This is not a call to predict the end, but to live faithfully in the present. Because the most urgent question may not be when the world will end—but whether we are reflecting Christ or resisting Him.
